Barcelona calcots Barcelona architecture

Coming back from wonderful Rome, I had a long layover in Barcelona. Rather than sit around in the airport, I took full advantage of being in this vibrant city and hopped on the bus from the airport to the city center. I intentionally try to schedule long layovers into my travel plans, because in some sneaky way, it feels like you get a peek at another destination for free! I like to tell myself that anyway. :)

Here’s what I saw last time I was in Barcelona:

One./Two./Three.

Also, if you ever find yourself at the BCN airport with some hours to kill, here’s a handy link to the multiple ways you can get yourself from the middle-of-nowhere airport, to gaping at Gaudi’s masterpieces in no time.

  3. Hola Christine!

This is awesome. I lived in BCN for 2 years and people always ask me for advice on what to see and do in Barcelona when time is of the essence. I can never bring myself to cut anything out of my list of recommendations, but this is proof that it can be done. Gracias!

    Hasta la proxima,

    Ben :)

  5. Hello Christine,

I am working on a music video for a song dedicated to Barcelona. I am in love with this city and am trying to make a video collage about it.
I was wondering if you have any stock video footage that I could use?

Here is the link to a tumblr blog with more details: http://shareyourbarcelona.tumblr.com/

Otherwise, I’ll be happy to answer any questions about the project,

    Thank you,

    Olga
