The largest Carnival in the world after Rio de Janeiro’s is in Cadiz, Spain. I had the good luck of experiencing this wild two week+ long street party this past February. This is a picture of the chirigotas, a group of satirical performers and singers that practice year-long in preparation of the festivities.

The aftermath of the riots in Athens, Greece. This is the bank that was set on fire by protesters where 3 bank employees were killed on May 5th, 2010. I took this photo a few days after. I thought the irony in this was the blatant Anarchy symbol next to the hundreds of bouquets of flowers in remembrance of the victims.
